Did you know the LCP’s B Jazz and his idol Jazz legend Herbie Hancock share the same birthday (April 12)? This night will be truly unique as B Jazz and some special guests pay homage to his favorite musician, and we party like it’s 1981!

Ms. Renee has been blessing the mic, at request during BLEND for a while. Her claim to fame: freestyling soul and R&B songs off the top of her head that give her such a unique vibe…there’s no one to compare her to!
Speak Williams is no stranger to BLEND. Last month’s performance was legendary and inspired a late night cypher outside of Barrio. He will be back this Thursday with his Hip Hop, Soul and Spoken Word hybrid!

Talisha Holmes Birthday Celebration
Anyone who is just a little hip to the live music scene has heard Talisha Holmes and her beautiful voice fill the city of Columbus. Whether it was back in the day at Snaps N Taps, something a bit more formal at Capital University or rocking the stage at Comfest, or any local club, Talisha has become the favorite singer of so many in the city.
Columbus, let’s say THANK YOU by celebrating Talisha this Thursday at BLEND! She will be performing some of her favorites and songs off her highly anticipated new project, along with some of vocal friends. Let’s make this a party Talisha will never forget!

A Tribute to Guru @ This Week’s BLEND
This week Eddie Bayard, along with the Liquid Crystal Project pays tribute to Guru, the legendary rapper who has been hospitalized due to cardiac arrest. Eddie has shared the stage with Guru many times, and describes him as a “cool cat.” For all of those who love Guru’s music or have never heard of him, check out BLEND this Thursday for a lesson on the origins of Jazz Hop!
